Winning the Cawthron Marlborough Environment Awards Supreme Award is a big milestone for the young biotech company, says Murray.

In a nutshell, DNAiTECH develops biological sensing of harmful pathogens (organisms that cause disease).

The company develops devises to use for in field testing.

Their projects range from environmental to agritech to bio medical.

Murray talks about project that the company is working on, such die back of the iconic Kauri tree.

The supreme Award is jointly sponsored by Marlborough Research Centre - MRC and Plant & Food Research. The business also took out the Business Innovation award sponsored by Cuddon Freeze Dry.
