It is the final Cawthron Marlborough Environment Awards field day before the next round of environment awards launch in August.
Come and get inspired by the work at Lawson’s Dry Hills to recycle waste, save water and power and reduce their carbon footprint.
"Their experience applies to other industries too," says Beverly Doole, MCEA Awards Coordinator.
Lawson's Dry Hills is one of a few wine companies to achieve the rigorous ISO accreditation for both Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality.
Reaching and maintaining these international standards achieved takes time, money and dedication. Even without deep pockets or wealthy overseas funders it is possible to invest in sustainability measures and be profitable.
When: Tuesday July 19, 2 to 4pm
Where: Lawson"s Dry Hills
