Welcome to Buck Forestry Service

We welcome new tenant Buck Forestry Service (BFSL).

Founded by director and general manager Kevan Buck in 1997, the company provides a range of technical services to the forest industry.

“Although largely South Island based, we do project work in the North Island as required”, says Administration Manager and fellow director Debra O’Keeffe. Staff are based in Nelson, Marlborough, and Canterbury with the main office in Stoke, Nelson.

“Our work entails data collection and quality audits for a variety of forest owners and forest operations”, says Debra.

“For example, the team can collect and analyse inventory data for a forest which can then be used to estimate expected future yields.”

“We also do mapping and aerial photography for the forest industry. Photomap a division of BFSL capturing aerial images which are used to produce a variety of maps, using the latest in UAV technology and high precision positioning systems.”
