Technical Communications Specialist joins the team at BRI

Michelle Barry, Technical Communications Specialist, says she is excited to join the Bragato Research Institute (BRI) team and is really looking forward to helping put research into action in the wine industry.

Q&A with Michelle:

Q What is your role responsible for?

A Taking research findings and putting them in a format that is easily understood by all our members.

Q How will it make a difference to the  industry?

A If members can clearly understand the purpose and findings of research they are more likely to apply that research in their vineyard or winery.

Q What are you most looking forward to in your role?

A Engaging with members and contributing to industry research.

Q What do you like about living in Marlborough?

A I have met some really great and interesting people since moving to Marlborough. We are surrounded by beautiful beaches and mountains. The wine might have something to do with it too!

Q Where have you moved from?

A Ireland via the Wairarapa.

Q What do you like about working on the MRC campus?

A I like that there are lots of companies based on campus. It makes it easy to connect with other areas of the industry.
